Teaching Assistant job at excellent school in Plymouth

Job description

A head teacher at a fantastic school on the outskirts of Plymouth is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support across all of key stage 3. The TA will be involved in all core subject lessons 5 days per week and will be expected to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with the students.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have recent experience in supporting key stage 3, GCSE is desirable
  • Be qualified to at least NVQ level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools
  • Graduates, PGCE students and Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply for this position

This Teaching Assistant job is full time, term time only and will start after the Easter holidays and will continue until the end of the academic year. There is potential for this job to be extended, dependant on the candidate's suitability for the role.

Earn between £270 - £310 per week dependant on your experience.
