Physics Teacher (Physics Specialist) needed in York

Are you a Teacher of Physics (Physics Specialist)? Are you looking for a new challenge in an Outstanding, supportive and progressive school?

A York based secondary school is looking to recruit a qualified Physics Teacher to enrich the learning and development of their KS3, KS4 and A level students. The school is looking for a Physics Teacher who is able to create engaging and innovative lesson plans, demonstrate effective teaching practices and strong behaviour management skills.

The position is full-time and will include planning and assessment, under the guidance of the Head of Department. The successful Physics Teacher would be required to get behind the Schools ethos and take on extra curricular activities.

An ideal candidate will have:

  • A UK recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Physics at Secondary level
  • A friendly, engaging approach to Teaching
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver effective lessons
