Job description

A Secondary SEN School in Rochdale are seeking 2 support workers to help support and care young people who have learning difficulties. The young people who will be attending this class are young people who have profound and multiple learning difficulties, they are also non verbal.

For the success candidates they must have the following:

  • Previous experience of supporting young people or adults with learning difficulties
  • Moving and Handling Training
  • Undertaken BSL/ Makaton or Signalong

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
