About the Role:

The opportunities working as a SEN Teaching Assistant are endless! This is a full time role, working with a SEN pupil who has Global Learning Delay and requires additional support within the classroom.

The school encourages a taught curriculum that is based on the ethos that learning should be broad and balanced so that all learning abilities are approached with sensitivity and the time and preparation that they deserve. On a regular basis the school provides extra curricular activities for pupils to participate in such as: swimming lessons, horse riding lessons and music therapy.

About the candidate:

SEN Teaching Assistants who are looking for a career change or a new opportunity:

  • Team teach trained
  • Passionate about having an impact on a child's learning development
  • Have a degree or Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Open to working on a 1:1 basis with a sever pupil

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
