SEN Teaching Assistant with small nurture group

Working with SEN children - Social Emotional Mental Health, Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties

Due to a new influx of children, a vacancy has come available for a Key Stage 1 SEN Teaching Assistant at a "Good" primary school close to Ordsall in Salford. The school are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a small group of children with SEN. This Salford Primary School has been praised for their balance of nurturing children to create an environment where children are respectful and achieve their goals. This position will be working alongside another qualified teaching assistant, where you will be breaking down set classwork into manageable sections and constantly making sure pupils fully understand the task in hand. The school have highlighted that due to these pupils requirements, they are seeking an individual who can constantly encourage and motivate them, meaning you must have an upbeat and nurturing approach.

The school are looking to appoint the incoming Teaching Assistant ASAP and will be conducting trial days in September. The role is full time and will be fore the full academic year.
