A school in Bracknell are looking for a role model to support young males and adults who have engaged in sexually harmful behaviour. This school provides residential, therapies as well as a full time education for their young people.

This is a setting who put their young people at the heart of their work, creating a nurturing environment where they are listened to and guided towards a better future.

The Teaching Assistant will be working with children who have a wide range of needs such as:

• Severe learning difficulties

• Poor self esteem

• Social, emotional and mental health difficulties

• Inability to form appropriate social relationships

• A diagnosis of Autism and ADHD


• Working 1:1 and/or with a small group of pupils

• Providing ongoing support to children with special educational needs

• Growing pupils confidence and encouraging them towards independence

• Providing a calming environment for children

Personal qualities required:

• A good listener and sensitive to pupils needs

• A sense of responsibility

• Positive behaviour management

• A good sense of humour

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
