Do you want to make a difference to the lives of children and young people with Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties? 

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a school in Bishop Auckland, Durham, to recruit a passionate, dedicated Teacher to work alongside children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an incredibly rewarding role that demands a qualified, experienced individual with an awareness of the Secondary curriculum. 

You will be working alongside children and young people who often experience challenging behaviours such as: 

- Anxiety

- Exclusion 

- Violent, aggressive behaviour 

- Truancy 

Teaching Personnel can offer the successful candidate:

- Competitive pay rates of GBP500-GBP600 per week

- A dedicated Consultant with on call services

This role is to commence ASAP and will be held until the end of October, so anyone who is interested is encouraged to apply with urgency. The children you will be working with have a variety of SEN and SEMH and therefore the successful candidates must have experience in any of the following roles: 

- Youth Work 

- Teaching SEN / SEMH 

- De-escalation / restraint training 

- Working with Mental Health 

- Support Work / Care Work
