Job description

A large Secondary School is looking to looking to recruit a Science Technician to join our friendly and enthusiastic team on a part time basis. The role is for 20 hours per week, term time only. 

Science Technicians provide support to teaching staff in the preparation and cleaning / clearing of lesson materials.  They ensure efficient preparation and organisation of equipment for lessons. Potential candidates must have some laboratory experience, either in a school based environment or outside of schools.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has some previous experience of working within a school / academy, with young people or in a science environment
  • the ability to work as part of a team and work closely with the Science team within the school
  • has strong organisational skills

The School is situated in mid-Sussex on a modern 30 Acre site with over 1000 pupils.
