RE teacher required for large sec school Basingstoke

Job description

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed RE teacher on behalf of our partner school to join a high achieving and over subscribed 11 - 16 community school. The successful candidate will join the highly effective Humanities faculty and work and develop within their enthusiastic RE team to teach all age ranges. They are dedicated to enhancing young people's lives and aim to provide a world class education through developing pupil's Habits of Mind. They are proud that the school has featured towards the top of the Hampshire league tables for value added results over recent years and they have been recognised for their work with vulnerable pupils by winning the Regional Pupil Premium Award.

They welcome applications from NQTs. The ability to teach a second humanities subject could be advantageous. They offer an excellent NQT programme and ensure that all members of staff experience an interesting Professional Learning programme which is grounded in research.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
