Part time Maths teacher opportunity in Manchester.

Are you an experienced Maths teacher looking for part time work? A large and oversubscribed secondary school in the heart of south Manchester have a temporary need for Maths teacher on a part time basis, starting from Easter or sooner if possible.

Situated in south Manchester, connected to the M60 via A5103 and also the M56, this is a large secondary school with an excellent reputation. The school serves a multi cultural community and enrols pupils from a range of backgrounds, there are above average levels of children on-roll for whom English is a second or additional language. The incoming Maths teacher will be required to work closely with the Head of department and fellow Maths teachers, ideally 3 days per week until the end of GCSE examinations. You'll teach Maths to full classes throughout key stage 3, whilst also providing small group support and some direct 1:1 Intervention with pupils yet to reach their potential with Maths. The Maths department have funding for an experienced teaching on a 0.6 timetable, flexibility on the three days per week (can be discussed at interview).
