Nurture Support Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic Nurture Support Assistant to join a Primary School in Widnes from March 2021 for a full-time position, this role will continue to the end of the academic year with the opportunity to progress into the next school year for the right candidate.

If you feel you have the skills to encourage, nurture and support towards young people aged 5-11 to achieve their full potential and continue their enjoyment of school, we welcome your application.

Due to the current circumstances, children are experiencing a large period of absence from school. For some children, this will mean little to no structure, continuously poor living conditions and limited social interaction with family and friends. Accordingly, returning to school and to the rules, routines and structure of a school day may be a struggle. The school aim is to support their pupils with their transition back to school as much as possible.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with:

  • Preschool and Nursery experience
  • Min level 2 qualification
  • Available full time
  • Be comfortable with personnel care
  • SEN background

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
