Are you an Early Years Foundation (EYFS) Assistant currently looking for work in Penzance on short-term roles? Teaching Personnel are currently looking for Nursery Nurse’s to work on a number of bookings, we receive in South West Cornwall.  

To be successful for this role, you must have:

  • A relevant child -related / vulnerable people qualification
  • Previous experience of working with supporting children / young people
  • Creative approaches to encourage play based learning
  • Empathy, patience and a nurturing attitude

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be providing children with a love of learning through exploratory play. You will work closely with the Teacher and work closely with small groups of children. You will assist with lessons that will enhance children’s social, personal, language and physical co-ordination abilities through both vocal and visual tasks both in and out of the usual classroom setting.  

Teaching Personnel take pride in their Safeguarding checks and this means you will be required to provide certificates of previous qualifications, references from your two most recent employers and a DBS check that is registered to the Update Service (if you don’t have one of these, you must be willing to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
