Teacher/Tutor required for 1:1/small group Numeracy support for local school in Eastville area – Intervention

With a strong focus on raising pupil attainment levels, a primary school within the Eastville area are currently seeking a skilled practitioner to conduct sessions for small groups, based around improving pupil’s numeracy skills.
You will need to be able to use error data analysis to be able to effectively track pupil progress and have a pro-active approach to providing the class teacher with information on the content of the sessions.
The role will involve working with children on a 1:1/small group basis, so if you have previous experience of this then we would like to hear from you.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Identify learning gaps where extra support is targeted
- Increase pupil’s confidence and academic potential
- Provide feedback to regular class teachers on individual pupil progress
- Help prepare and complete EHCP’s to monitor pupil progress
The ability to tailor teaching to meet individual pupil needs is essential and great support will be provided from peers and colleagues of the school.
