Job Type: Full-time – Year 3 Teacher – Burnley Primary School – 2 form entry

Salary: GBP90 – 150 per day

Start date: 1st September 2020

A primary school in Burnley that work closely with Teaching Personnel are looking to utilise the TEACHING PERSONNEL NQT POOL to source an enthusiastic NQT to commit to a minimum 2 term teaching position. Teaching Personnel have worked with this school for over 4 years and have provided long term & permanent teachers and teaching assistants to support school in times of need. This role has arisen due to a gap in staffing due to an ‘expected’ resignation. The Head Teacher has said she would fully support the successful candidate in order to complete your NQT year. You would receive the allocated PPA and NQT time each week. The two term is to ensure the school & successful candidate are both happy. The adjacent year 3 teacher is also the NQT mentor in school. She is described as ‘an amazing teacher & very supportive’.    

You must be a well organised, efficient and reflective practitioner with high expectations of child development, learning and behaviour. You must also be able to plan and deliver a creative curriculum, create a purposeful and stimulating learning environment and form good relationships with children, parents/carers and staff. You would be expected to attend staff meetings, INSETs and Parents Evenings through the academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
