Maths Teacher

Teaching personnel is searching on behalf of an Ofsted rated ‘GOOD’ school, in the Chesterfield area for a Maths teacher for the Spring and Summer terms to cover a planned absence.

  • Pay range between GBP2000-GBP2800 per month depending on experience
  • Working for an Ofsted rated “GOOD” school in the Chesterfield area
  • Temporary cover starting in January, running through Spring/Summer terms

Any maths teacher or NQT with relevant qualifications or experience looking for a temporary contract have the opportunity to join a consistently high achieving team who strive to deliver the best quality of teaching and support for a diverse range of students. The successful candidate will receive support from a close-knit department and will report directly to an approachable head of Mathematics.

The Head of Maths is looking for someone who can successfully influence progress across KS3/KS4 and help further the already high achieving department with superior subject knowledge, excellent classroom management and good relationship building skills. Full teaching responsibilities will be required including curriculum planning, marking and parents’ evenings.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience teaching mathematics at the KS3/KS4 level, although NQT’s with relevant credentials should still apply
  • Excellent classroom management and relationship building
  • The ability to work with a diverse range of students
  • MUST live in and have right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
