KS3 & GCSE Mathematics cover these key areas: Number, Algebra, Shape, Space and Measures, Handling Data and Using & Applying Mathematics. The Maths department places great emphasis on building confidence in students' mathematical ability. Students are taught to think and communicate mathematically, both verbally and on paper. They will continue to develop problem-solving and investigative skills, using ICT where appropriate. Textbooks are provided for classroom use for all students.
