Role: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Bristol Area
Salary: £55-65 per day
Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit a number of learning support assistants for 1:1 support in the Bristol area. Teaching Personnel is seeking learning support assistants who are available now for immediate start and continuing into September. This role is available on a day-to-day basis allowing you the flexibility to work the days you want to and also on a temp-to-perm basis.
As a learning support assistant you will need to be able to be resilient, engaging, enthusiastic, and motivational as well as having a passion to inspire young people. As a teaching assistant within an SEN school you will need to have an understanding of SEN and building trust and relationships with vulnerable students who may be incredibly challenging.
The ideal candidate:
- Basic knowledge of the school curriculum
- Be able to communicate effectively
- Experience working with SEN, vulnerable children, SEMH and challenging behaviour is desired however not essential
