Job description

KS2 Teacher

Due to the current climate many children in Y5 going into Y6 in September will have missed a significant amount of vital study time with their class teacher. 

Children will still be expected to undergo KS2 SATs having in most cases been taught at home by a family member. 

We are looking for individuals across Sheffield and Chesterfield to meet the requirements of this role.

It is as a result of this that we are looking for a number of individuals who are;

  • Experienced in working with students in KS2 in the lead up to SAT’s
  • Willing to go the extra mile in order to aid pupil progression and raise attainment 
  • Calm and collected in the deliverance of 1:1 catch-up/booster sessions 
  • Able to deliver small intervention groups to students in some cases before and after school 
  • Knowledgeable in the curriculum and have a good subject grasp on core subjects such as Maths, English and Science

This role will be for the most part a temporary post in a number of schools. However, for anyone in search of longer term or permanent opportunities it may be a good stepping stone into a number of schools, giving you the chance to showcase your talents and passion for teaching.
