Job description

Teacher of Information technology required for a Secondary school based in Weymouth for September 2019, full time for a permanent gap within the department.

Due to a restructure within the department, the Head Teacher and the Governors are seeking a highly experienced Teacher of Information technology to serve pupils at Key Stage 3 and 4, full time throughout the new academic year.   • Full-time Teacher of Information technology commences from September 2019.

  • Must have a previous track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning to pupils across levels of learning.

  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 406.

  • Plan, prepare and deliver outstanding Information technology lessons to pupils across Key Stages 3-4. Experience delivering Information technology lessons at GCSE is highly desired, as it is a key aspect of this post.

  • Evaluate all class work against criteria and take appropriate action to ensure the progression of each individual pupil.

  • Demonstrate differentiated learning styles due to the varied abilities to learn across the school board.

  • Display positive behaviour management skills in accordance to school behaviour policies.
