At Teaching Personnel we are recruiting for Graduates who want to embark on a career in education to work in schools in the Lewisham Borough. One particular school is located a short walk from Catford and Catford bridge stations providing excellent transport links for candidates who wish to commute using public transport. It was awarded “Outstanding” by Ofsted in 2016. The school are looing to appoint future teachers and support them as the undertake PGCE studies or a “Train to Teach” course.
The role is a Teaching Assistant is varied but very rewarding, a year working in various year groups would provide more than adequate experience and knowledge of a school based career. You will be expected to work 1:1 with Children who have additional needs and also as a general class TA supporting the whole class alongside the teacher.
Ideally candidates will have;
- Child workforce DBS (on the update service) or willingness to apply for one
- Experience working with children
- 2 recent references
- Ambitions to become a teacher
- A hard working individual looking to get into the education sector
- Strong work ethic

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
