A large mixed comprehensive Secondary school is seeking a dynamic Graduate Teaching Assistant on a full time basis starting immediately until the end of the academic year.

The Head of inclusion (SENCO) is working in collaboration with SLT to recruit a passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their highly successful staff team. This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to pursue a career within the education sector and for those wishing to develop their experience working with young people.

-          Full time Graduate Teaching Assistant required immediately.

-          Must hold a degree level qualification, any previous experience working with young people is highly advantageous.

-          Opportunity to work within a welcoming Secondary school located in the Eccles region of Salford.

-          Excellent location easily accessible via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road).

-          Earn up to GBP70 per day.

As the incoming Graduate Teaching Assistant you can expect to work with pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting with the teaching and learning on a 1:1 and small group basis. You may also be required to deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of class teachers, with full support provided.

The school has just over 800 pupils currently on roll aged 11- 16 and is easily accessible via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bolton, Manchester, Trafford and Wigan. There is also an abundance of public transport options readily available with links across Greater Manchester.
