Are you a recent graduate looking to become a secondary school teacher in the future? Teaching Personnel's Future Teachers Graduate Scheme is the perfect opportunity to gain invaluable classroom experience.

Teaching Personnel is passionate about addressing the current shortage of teachers across the Greater Manchester region, as well as around the country. Therefore, we have partnered up with several secondary schools across the North Manchester regions of Oldham and Rochdale who are seeking to appoint a number of recent graduates as part of our Future Teachers programme. Teaching Personnel are excited to offer their graduate scheme to graduates of all subjects including English, Maths, Science, Languages, the Humanities including Geography and History and more vocational subjects such as Art and Music.

As part of our Future Teachers programme, successful candidates will:

  • Spend a full academic year as a Teaching Assistant in the department of their specialism
  • Gain invaluable classroom experience learning from experienced practitioners
  • Have access to a number of CPD and training sessions delivered by specialists
  • Earn up to £1300 per month

As part of our Future Teachers Graduate Scheme, incoming graduates will undertake a number of different roles in order to build up their classroom experience. This will undoubtedly be invaluable for those considering a career within education. The successful candidates will start of the Future Teacher Graduate Scheme supporting students in the classroom as a Teaching Assistant, with the role steadily gaining more responsibility as they run intervention sessions for targeted key students. Throughout the year, learning more about the role as a teacher will become more prominent as the graduates will start to support the planning and preparation of classes, giving feedback to students as well as covering lessons with the support of the main class teacher. Developing schemes of work will become a key skill, as well as supporting different learners across the age and ability range.
