Our client secondary school in the South of Manchester is looking to recruit a French teacher starting with them in September, at the beginning of the academic year. The successful French teacher will be teaching KS3 and KS4 with a timetable split across both levels. This is a full time French teaching position for a term in the first instance.
During this term, the Head of French at this mixed comprehensive school will observe the French teacher and if suitable, there is the opportunity for a permanent contract. This vacancy is as a result of a current member of staff having to reluctantly relocate due to personal circumstances.
Key aspects of this French role:
- Full time French teaching position, teaching up to GCSE level
- Leadership highlighted as being supportive and having a clear direction
- Work within a modern and well managed MFL department
- Pay range between £100 - 170 per day depending on payscale and experience
The successful teacher of French can be at the start of their teaching career or further into it as this school is open to applications from any teachers with a variety of experience. This school has a specific focus on great teaching which puts the students at the centre of all learning; they are therefore looking for a French teacher who can provide great teaching and has an inherent flare for the subject.
The school is situated in the South of Manchester, easily accessible via the M60 motorway or Princess Parkway/Kingsway. The local public transport network is also fantastic with regular buses travelling to and from the school via the local area.
If you are a motivated French teacher looking to teach in a supportive school with the opportunity to progress onto a contract, then apply now with your latest CV.
