English Teacher, Darwen Behavioural Unit

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a School in the Darwen, East Lancashire, area who are seeking an English Teacher for KS3/4.

The school are seeking an English Teacher from NEXT WEEK (ideally!)

The School is smaller than average and classes are generally under 8 pupils per class.

The pupils in School have a range of additional needs including; Autism, ADHD, SEMH Difficulties and Challenging Behaviours. Candidates with their Team Teach qualification will be favoured but this is not essential.

The candidate suited to this role must be a qualified Teacher, have experience working with pupils with have additional learning needs and/or challenging behaviours and be passionate about enriching the lives of pupils who are often harder to reach.

The School are looking for a Teacher with a real passion for teaching who will help drive improvement and be part of a new team in September.

The role will be full time, School hours are 8.40am - 3.30pm, long-term, and both roles have the opportunity to become permanent.
