Teaching Personnel Bristol is seeking flexible and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in Secondary Schools in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

 

What does a Cover Supervisor do?

Working as a Cover Supervisor you will be required to deliver the work that is set by the class teacher by following lesson plans and ensuring behaviour and lesson disruption is at a minimum.  All the work is pre set for you, this role is mainly classroom management - you must feel confident that you can keep a class on track!

As a Cover Supervisor you must possess good communication skills and be able to build rapport with students quickly. 

You will be able to work full time or part time with roles ranging from daily bookings to long term assignments. Good Cover Supervisors with the right attitude will have no shortage of work.

The daily pay rate for a Cover Supervisor is between GBP75 - GBP90 per day (depending on your experience).

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children either in a professional or personal capacity.
  • Strong academic background - you must hold a degree in any specialism
  • DBS - Teaching Personnel will help you apply for a DBS if necessary.
