Job description

Behaviour Mentor required for PRU – September start – Full time

  • Support children on a 1:1 basis who have been identified as at risk of exclusion from their current primary school

You will be based in a short stay PRU in New Malden, and you will work with different children who attend two or three times a week. You will be helping to prevent permanent exclusions.

  • You will be paid a daily pay rate (GBP75-GBP95 per day)
  • You will work collaboratively with other staff
  • We are looking for candidates with previous experience of intervention support, mentoring, youth work, 1:1 support, sports coaching, strong behaviour management, counselling or any other relevant form of experience

Teaching Personnel will be your direct employer (under PAYE), however there will be opportunity for you to apply for a permanent role later on in the year if you are successful in the job.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
