Job description

Learning support assistants needed for Tameside secondary schools to work with students who have require additional support. If you are a teaching assistant, learning mentor or currently work with students who have autism, ADHD, social emotional mental health or behavioural support needs.

Teaching Personnel currently work with the majority of secondary schools in Tameside who are requesting full time, part time, temporary and permanent support staff o work with their students on a 1:1 and small group basis.

The role of a learning support or teaching assistant is highly rewarding, providing tailored support to students enhancing their school experience ensuring they achieve the best possible results they can making progress throughout their school life. You will be working within a special educational needs team that will beheaded by the schools SENCO (special educational needs co-ordinator)

The SEN team will hold weekly briefings and meeting reviewing and monitoring students individual progress against their expected levels.

**Weekly pay ranging from £275-£400 per day

To be eligible for the role of a teaching assistant you will need to provide suitable references, eligibility for a fully enhanced DBS and previous experience of working with young people.
