Job description

An excellent opportunity to gain experience as a Teaching Assistant working in a 'good' Ofsted school in the Southampton area.

This school provides a safe, enjoyable and caring learning environment for students to learn skills for life and prepare them well for adulthood. Within this role, you'll be assisting in delivering support to pupils with learning difficulties, speech, language and communication needs, autism and specific learning difficulties.

The candidate we're looking for:

  • Someone who is an able multitasker and can work under pressure with a different range of students with a variety of learning difficulties.
  • Ideally have experience working with SEN pupils, but experience of supporting adults with learning difficulties and/or individuals within the care sector would also be considered.
  • A confident, friendly, pro-active and professional individual.
