** SEN Teaching Assistants wanted **

** September roles **

Teaching personnel have seen a large rise in schools who are requesting experienced Learning Support Assistants to help support pupils from September. 

We have had a number of schools request 1:1 staff within KS1 & 2 to work with children with behavioural difficulties and those on Educational Health Care Plans.

We are seeking candidates whoa re available on a full time basis and have experience working with Primary Aged pupils.

The successful candidate will have;

  • A strong personality with clear expectations for children’s behaviour and learning
  • Experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour
  • The ability to motivate and encourage children
  • A good understanding of SEN
  • A passion to effect real change in a young persons life

Due to some of the pupils natures that need support, previous experience is essential.

A NVQ Level 2 or 3 would also be an advantage along with additonal training courses relating to working with Children/ Speical Education Needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
