Teaching Assistant

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to support pupils’ learning, social development, and personal care needs. You’ll help to create a positive and engaging classroom environment, adapt resources to meet individual learning needs, and provide one-to-one or small-group support as required.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday during term time, with opportunities for professional development and training.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

• Is patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.

• Works well as part of a team but can also use initiative.

• Has good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ideally holds or is working towards a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning), although training can be provided for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
