This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people who may have previously struggled in mainstream education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons by following the teachers lesson plans
- Lead interventions to help pupils achieve academic and social targets.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing in line with the school’s ethos.
- Support pupils with SEMH needs in developing resilience and self-regulation skills.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff.
- Contribute to planning, assessment, and review of pupil progress.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds HLTA status
- Has experience working with children with SEMH or additional learning needs.
- Is patient, resilient, and able to build positive, trusting relationships.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is committed to inclusive education and continuous professional development.
