Experienced Teacher of SEND Wanted at Ofsted-Graded Good Primary School
Location: Cambridge (CB4)

Are you a dedicated and experienced teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Ofsted-graded Good Primary School in Cambridge as a Teacher of SEND.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.
- Provide targeted support and interventions to enable students to achieve their full potential across the curriculum.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular reviews and meetings to monitor and adjust support provision.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
- Stay abreast of best practices and developments in SEND education, incorporating evidence-based approaches into teaching and support strategies.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in a primary or secondary school setting.
- Specialisation or significant experience in teaching students with SEND.
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches and resources to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Additional qualifications or training in SEND education.
- Experience working with students with a range of SEND profiles, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), dyslexia, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
- Familiarity with assistive technology and other resources to support students with SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
