Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis starting from September. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education, fostering a love for learning, and nurturing the growth and development of our Year 1 students.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and policies.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence, personal growth, and well-being.
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on students' progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1, is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and best practices in primary education.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
