Starting in September 2020, a smaller than average and inclusive secondary school are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year!

The SENCO and pastoral team of this secondary school are looking for a passionate, patient and dynamic individual for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant who can support a group of identified pupils aged 14 to 16 in Key Stage 4 with mild to moderate SEN including; Autism, Dyslexia and ADHD. The pupils will require extra support with lesson engagement, reading/writing and understanding the current scheme of work which the school will advise you on.

Highlights of the SEN Teaching Assistant role include:

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant 
  • September 2020 to July 2020 
  • Earning GBP1200 a month
  • Delivering tailored learning activities to a group of identified pupils with a range of SEN
  • Working at a supportive and inclusive mainstream secondary school ib Bury close to the area of Tottington
  • Previous experience with SEN and young people is very desirable for the role
  • Exclusive access to a range of CPD courses including; SEND sessions, Autism Awareness and more!
