SEN Teaching Assistant - Bolton
Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a large secondary school based in Bolton, supporting them with the recruitment of a number of full-time Specialist Teaching Assistant's that are able to join their school in September 2019.
This role will require the incoming member of staff to support and engage pupils throughout school, many of whom have significant barriers to learning. Previous experience of working in an education setting with pupils in a supporting role is preferred, as well as having the skills to diffuse stressful situations and build good relationships with the students.
In house training and CPD will be on offer to all candidates to ensure that each staff member has the opportunity to develop professionally. - Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role starting in September 2019.
- Employment on a 12 month temporary basis in the first instance
- Supporting students that have a range of needs ranging from ASC to ADHD.
- Competitive pay rates dependent on experience - Up to £1300 a month.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant working in the SEND Faculty you will work closely with teachers and other colleagues in all subjects, to ensure that work set is differentiated and appropriate. Support staff are given strategies to support each individual student, providing materials and training to assist progress and attainment where necessary.
Our client secondary school holds a good reputation within the local community, the school is larger than average and currently has around a 1000 pupils on roll. The school is in an ideal location if commuting, just a mile away from the train station and a short drive from the M60 making it easily commutable from surrounding areas.
