SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with previous experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs.

-          SEN Teaching Assistant required to start as soon as possible.

-          Guaranteed for the rest of the academic year with the potential of a permanent contract for the right candidate.

-          Possible SEN involved could be ADHD, Autism or additional learning needs such as Dyslexia and Dyscalculia.

-          Any experience with children who have SEN in an educational setting is desirable.

-          Working within lessons on a 1:1 basis or in small groups with identified pupils.

-          Earn up to GBP350 per week.

Further responsibilities incorporate supporting the class teacher and delivering pre-planned intervention sessions to suit specific SEN With over 900 pupils, the school is in need of extra staff to guarantee these particular students are supported and that teachers also have the help they require in the classroom.

Located in Salford, our client school can be accessed via the M61 and A580.. For non drivers, there is a number of public transportation links meaning the school can be accessed from surrounding areas such as Worsley, Bolton and central Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
