A fantastic and very successful Primary SEN Unit are looking to require 2 graduates to work as SEN Teaching Assistants, supporting pupils with ASD (Autism) within either KS2 (ages 7-11yrs) or within the Early years (ages 3-5yrs).
This is a FANTASTIC SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity, which could see you gain invaluable, frontline experience for the entire academic year.
POSITION: SEN Teaching Assistant - 2 positions available - Early Years & KS2
PERSON: Ideal for Psychology Graduates - interest or/and experience with Autism required
SCHOOL: Fantastic Primary School SEN Unit - aged 3-11yrs - Hugely Successful!
LOCATION: Sittingbourne/Swale
START DATE: ASAP
PAY: GBP60 - GBP75 per day
IDEAL PERSON:
- A genuine interest and passion to work supporting children with Special Needs / SEN.
- Hardworking, bright and caring graduates considering a career in education or psychology.
- Confident and able to deal with daily challenges when working with Autism / ASD.
- ONLY those able to commit until at least July 2020 are asked to apply
JOB ROLE:
- SEN Teaching Assistant within Key Stage 2 or the Early Years
- Join a brilliant team of teachers and teaching assistants
- Given the best support and given training required to successfully support pupils
- Opportunity to learn and develop understanding and skills using PECS and Makaton
