Year 1 Teacher

A friendly and welcoming school in Blackburn is looking for a KS1 Teacher to join them until the end of the academic year.

The school prides itself on setting high expectations of all of their pupils so that they feel a sense of accomplishment. You will need to have good assessment for learning techniques to prepare children for the phonics check but most of all you will need to be passionate about making a difference in children's lives.

The successful candidate will have:

• UK qualified teacher status
• Experience of working as a teacher within the last 10 years
• ECTs are welcome to apply for this role
• Be able to differentiate content for pupils with SEND
• Have good behaviour management
• Be able to utilise formative and summative assessment to maximise pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
