Specialist SEN teaching assistant required - Greenford

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of an excellent school based in Greenford, the school itself pride themselves on providing their students with the best staff and educational quality. The role:

This role will require possible candidates to provide one to one support to a year 3 student with mild Autism.This will include conducting intervention sessions and accommodating to the complex needs of this pupil. Being able to monitor and evaluate their pupils progression and provide suitable feedback is essential, similarly they must be able to adapt and support their needs throughout.

The ideal candidate:

  • MUST have expeirence supporting pupils with Autism
  • IDEALLY have experience supporting pupils with communication difficulties
  • MUST have a good understanding/knowledge of teaching the English national curriculum in schools

Based in the heart of Greenford this school is looking for a positive and independent teaching assistant to contribute to the learning of their pupils. It is a three form entry school with numerous specialised departments. Attached to the school is a specialised department/base to support speech, language and communication, this ensures that there is outstanding support for each and every pupil - pushing them to progress and achieve to the best of their ability.

The school is easily accessible by numerous train and bus services, its a short walk from Greenford station (approx 4 minutes) while also being surround by multiple bus routes
