SEN Teacher - Camden

Are you a dynamic SEN Teacher looking for a new role in September? Do you have experience teaching students with autism or profound and multiple learning difficulties? If so, Teaching Personnel have the ideal job for you!
The School:
- An inclusive Special Needs School for Primary aged pupils
- Provide a nurturing and friendly atmosphere, helping to raise self-esteem and self-confidence
- A range of facilities for pupils to benefit from, including a sensory garden and fitness trail
- Classrooms designed to provide a low stimulus environment for pupils with autism
- Staff deliver an inclusive and creative curriculum
- Accessibe by tube.
- Camden based
The Job Role:
- To plan and deliver effective lessons using P-Scales
- Develop pupils speech and language skills
- Create a safe play-based learning environment and encourage repetition of key skills
- Be able to plan effectively for a mixed age class of up to 8 pupils
- Liaise with support staff within the classroom to ensure all pupils needs are being met
- Be able to travel to Camden
Person Specification:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Degree
- Have experience of teaching pupils with special educational needs
- Hold additional training such as Autism Awareness and Team Teach, or be willing to complete additional training
- Have practical experience of teaching using P-Scales
- Be able to provide a full 6 year career history, with references spanning over 12 months
