SEN Teacher – Permanent Position
Location: New Ferry

A highly reputable, award-winning group of special educational needs (SEN) schools is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join the permanent teaching team at one of their schools in New Ferry. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of individual learners.

• Create and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s requirements.

• Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress, adjusting strategies where necessary.

• Work in close partnership with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for each pupil.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

• Promote students’ personal, social, and emotional development alongside academic progress.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.

• Sound knowledge of SEN best practice, legislation, and current educational developments.

• Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.

• Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual learning needs.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• A team-oriented approach and a commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
