We are currently recruiting for experienced teaching assistants to work in various SEN schools based in the Cardiff. 80% of all our work is long term positions which on occasions can fill up your entire academic year! More importantly – schools and provisions are now looking to us to work alongside your recruitment process – which makes us a great choice if you are looking for that school contract that you’ve always wanted.

Our branch works closely with school who support a wide range of disabilities and additional learning needs. Some of these include Autism, Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. To fully flourish in this role you will be required to have a flexible approach and have the ability to work with all ages from 3 – 19 years old. You may be required to work either one to one with pupils or to support the class as a whole. Whilst working collaboratively with internal and external agencies including Physiotherapists & nurses. We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, motivated, positive, professional, able to use their own initiative and able to think quickly in challenging situations. As each day can be different, an adaptable and flexible approached is essential. No specific training is needed however, having the All Wales Passport to Manual Handling and/or Team Teach is beneficial. Looking to gain more training? Not to worry! All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
