An SEN School based in the Chichester area are seeking a qualified teacher to join their supportive team. The role is full time and will be made permanent for the right person. The school caters for young people who have special educational needs (such as Autism, Aspergers, Dyslexia, PMLD and EBD) or statements of social, emotional and mental health needs.

The ideal candidate will…

• Teach a small class including one to one teaching

• Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils

• Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge

• Plan and teach well-structured lessons

• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils

• Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
