We are looking for SEMH behaviour support to work with an academy trust in the Plymouth area. The academy trust are solely working with Teaching Personnel and are committed to finding the right candidate to work within their settings.

The roles are working with pupils who are not in mainstream education and need additional support. They are supporting the pupils on a 1:1/small group basis from Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30. The roles are full time ongoing.

The roles will provide initial training when you first join the setting and support you ongoing. The academy supports you with necessary equipment to support the role. Part of the role includes supporting the pupils on and off sight which requires the candidate to drive with access to their own vehicle.

To apply for this role you must have 2 years experience of supporting children and young people and relevant qualifications. Having the following qualifications will support your application: Team teach, MAPA, Safeguarding tier 2, A-levels or equivalent, BTEC or a NVQ.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
