Teaching personnel are looking for Science intervention specialists to provide online learning support for a number of South Manchester schools.

The forced school closures have generated a huge demand for online tuition within secondary schools, as a registered NTP partner teaching personnel are providing schools with heavily discounted tutoring to assist pupils struggling with core subjects.

The role will entail providing 1:1 or small group online support to students, across the three science principles of Biology, Physcis and Chemistry, the ability to teach general science is benefical although those with specialisms are still suitable. You will be assisting the learning of students across all year groups (varies role to role) but with an overall focus on helping the achievement of GCSE studnets who are falling behind their target grades.

The ideal candiate will have experience with pupil intervention, whether through private tuition or working directly with secondary aged students in school. You will need to be educated to the degree level in a relevant subject. Strong relationship building and behavouiral management skills would be favourable, many of the students you will be assisting are demotivated so you will need to foster a passion for learning once again to help them achieve and exceed their target grades.

The pay range isbetween GBP20-GBP25 an hour depending on expereince, with hours per week and timings varying role to role. This is an excellent oppurtunity for flexible, remote work with many sessions falling after school hours providing a good work life balance. Teaching Personnel will provide full training including NTP courses and child safeguarding through our CPD academy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
