Reception Teacher - Full time – Manchester (M40) – M1- M4 Pay Scale
About the Role:
The successful individual will be required to cover a Maternity cover on a full time basis starting from Tuesday 1st September 2020 until August 2021.
This school is a two-form entry; this Reception class in particular has 29 children and is supported by a General Teaching assistant, who has been with the school for the past 12 years. The school is currently using ‘Read Write Inc’ Phonics within the Early Years department, so experience delivering this would be desirable. Children are currently working in line with the National Average and attainment levels have shown a clear increase year on year.
Salary: M1 – M4 Pay Scale

- QTS
- The ability to inspire children
- Previous experience with EYFS/KS1 children
- Experience using ‘Letters & Sounds’ Phonics Scheme
- A commitment to ensuring every pupil reaches their potential
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
