Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant – Autism Support (Primary & Secondary)
Milton Keynes | £90+/day | Full-time | Temp to Perm or Permanent

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in Milton Keynes, supporting autistic students (verbal and non-verbal) across primary and secondary phases.

Role Overview:

  • Support students with autism and additional learning needs on a 1:1 or small group basis

  • Assist in maintaining a structured, calm, and engaging learning environment

  • Use visual aids, clear communication, and routines to support understanding

  • Record pupil progress and behaviour throughout the school day

  • Encourage participation in classroom and extracurricular activities

  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff

Key Info:

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

  • Pay: £90+/day (experience dependent)

  • Start: Immediate or September start dates available

Ideal Candidate:

  • Interested in working with autistic children and young people

  • Calm, patient, and proactive

  • Experience is a bonus but not essential—full training provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
