Full-Time Maths Teacher – Secondary School, Bournemouth
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time | Long-term or Permanent
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Salary: MPS/UPS – Depending on experience

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher looking for your next opportunity? A thriving and supportive secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a talented teacher to join their Maths department on a full-time basis from September 2025.

About the Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you’ll play a key role in delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students build confidence and succeed in mathematics. You’ll join a forward-thinking department that values collaboration, creativity, and high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated Maths lessons

  • Inspire and challenge students of all abilities

  • Assess progress and provide timely, constructive feedback

  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning

  • Support the school’s ethos of achievement, inclusion, and respect

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

  • Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills

  • Passionate about helping students achieve their potential
