The Headteacher of a reputable Primary School in Blackpool have approached Teaching Personnel to secure a strong KS1 Teacher to begin in school from January 2002. This school have approached Teaching Personnel today to source an inspirational Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher to teach five days per week within their Year 2 Class. This particular class is made up of 30 pupils and there is also an experienced full time Teaching Assistant in class full time.
The school are looking for nothing less than an ‘inspirational dynamic teacher’ to join their staff team, someone who is committed to raising standards within Education and preferably someone who has experience leading KS1 assessments. The Headteacher is experienced and is admired by staff in school and well repected by staff and pupils. Generally speaking, this school rarely use a Supply Agency for staffing, however this role has cropped up due to an unforeseen absence which the Headteacher said is likely to continue for the duration of the academic year. The school is easily accessible via public transport and also has parking facilities.
Behaviour is exemplary in this school and they generally have low staff turnover. The school have not specified whether they are looking for an experienced Teacher or a Newly Qualified Teacher as they do not want to limit their options – therefore the only criteria for applying for this post is UK QTS. Experience working within a Faith school would be advantageous to this role as the Headteacher has specified they are looking for someone who would be supportive to their school ethos.
This role is to bein from January 2020; the school are covering a planned absence internally until they find the right person for the position. Therefore – if this post is of interest please do not hesitate in applying or call the office for further details. Applications from Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome.

“From the moment I joined teaching personnel I have found them professional, helpful and very efficient. I have been in constant employment from the week I was cleared for work. My main consultant Chloe has been fantastic, she is pro active and constantly on hand for any queries or problems. I have worked for consultants in other areas, Howard, Rachel, Steven and they have all been equally brilliant! I would happily recommend teaching personnel.” Louise, Teacher, Preston.
“The team at TP in Preston have been absolutely fabulous. They always have time for you and they take time to get to know you too! Currently I am on a LT placement which is amazing - a great fit and really enjoying being in the classroom again. Thanks all.” Karen, Teacher, Chorley.
“Teaching Personnel found my C.V online and got in contact with me about signing up with them. At first I was sceptical, as I hadn't heard of them before but I am thrilled that I did sign with them.
I met with Chloe, who helped me through the sign up process very quickly. She said she would have work for me within the week and she truly delivered. She keeps in regular contact and provides support, should I need it. Overall, I am very happy with the service I have received from TP and Chloe in particular. If you are new to supply, or an experienced supply teacher, then make sure to sign up with TP.” Adam, Teacher, Preston.
“Taking the plunge into supply teaching was a daunting prospect after leaving my previous post of 10 years. However, I needn’t have been worried! Steven and Chloe worked as a great team to provide me with day to day supply for 4 weeks and by then Chloe had secured me a long term post. It really was as easy as that on my part! The trial day was a great way of me deciding if the long term post was for me and vice-versa. Dealing with Teaching Personnel has been a very positive experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. They’re always on the other end of a phone and looking out for your best interests. Thanks again Chloe and Steven.” Sarah, Teacher, Leyland.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
