Job Title: Maths Cover Teacher (KS3) – Short and Long Term Opportunities
Location: New Malden, London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Flexible (Short-term cover and Long-term positions available)

About the Role:
We are looking for multiple qualified and enthusiastic Maths Cover Teachers to join a secondary school in the New Malden area. This role offers both short-term cover shifts and longer-term teaching opportunities, primarily focused on Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) that is current and valid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to KS3  and KS4 students
• Maintain continuity of learning during cover periods
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a productive learning environment
• Adapt lesson plans and resources as needed to suit student needs
• Support school policies and contribute positively to the school community

Person Specification:

• Qualified PE teachers (QTS preferred but not essential)
• Experience teaching Maths desirable
• Strong classroom management skills
• Flexible and reliable approach to cover shifts and longer-term assignments
• Passionate about student progress and engagement
